Our hearts are filled with awe and worship as we consider the goodness, faithfulness, and love of God towards us as a mission, not only testified in the past and still testify today of the blessed message of full salvation transforming their lives. Romans 10:13-15. There are not words to describe all the miracles and blessings over the years and with Moses of old, we can cry out, “The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare Him and habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.”
The birth of this mission was in the heart of God a long time before 1924, when the three Garratt sisters, Helena, Emma, and May Garratt, began preparing back in Ireland for a mission to be formed in South Africa that the message of Full Salvation could reach our land.
We invite you to look at the interesting video dealing with the history of the A.E.B. on YouTube.

To celebrate the 100 years of existence of the A.E.B., their singing group are touring South Africa and Namibia sharing at schools, old age homes, churches, businesses, and other openings. They started off in the Western Cape, with wonderful opportunities at among others, the Strand and Tafelberg Dutch Reformed Churches, the E.G. There were special music recordings taken with Bloubergstrand and the Paarl Afrikaans Taal monument in the background.
After the above, they travelled to Namibia, where they participated in the North Bank Dutch Reformed Church and school. They were privileged to share in Windhoek, Keetmanshoop, Mariental, Stampriet, Okahandja, Outjo, Otjiwarongo, Grootfontein, Tsumeb, Walvisbaai and Swakopmund in Dutch Reformed Churches, Old Age Homes and schools bringing the message of Full Salvation in song, Word, and Visual Presentation.
News From the Field
Singing Group:
The Lord is busy working, yet our eyes are upon Him to do even greater things. “Expect great things from God, Attempt great things from God.” We want each one of you upholding us in prayer. The enemy is certainly not sleeping but we can testify that God gives the victory in an increasing measure as greater challenges confront us. We experience the tender presence of God amongst us. The play written so ably by Manfred, have challenge youth throughout the tour. At the Otjiwarongo Provincial High school close to 100 children responded, mostly to seek God to save them.
Convention Speaker:
Jenny: I continue to be challenged and blessed by people who contact me for prayer and God’s intervention in their lives. What really touched me this week was one young man contacting me for special prayer requests as he was heading to the prayer meeting. He said, “I always ask the group to uphold you in prayer.” I certainly need it on all fronts as people contact me going through depression, seeking to break through into full assurance of salvation, freedom in Christ, wisdom as to parenting to mention just a few problems that call for prayer and counselling. I have sat opposite people pouring out sorrow and concern in deep brokenness and continually cry out to God for wisdom. Often there is contact via WhatsApp or email. How precious to always lean on God not one’s own understanding.
Roy and Jerusala and children have travelled across America to Wisconsin and are currently ministering there. They would greatly appreciate prayer for all the travels in this snowy and stormy weather. They are having a busy time of ministry there, as the weeks are packed full of meetings, Roy being called upon to preach, and Jerusala’s days including many visits, counselling, and prayer times with other mothers with young children. May we in all things glorify the Master.
Eastern Cape:
Today a man came to pick up a whole box of English tracts, ‘The Way to God’. Four years ago, this same man had ordered a full box of the same tracts when we were still in Boksburg. With every single one of the 700 tracts in that box, he not only handed it into someone’s hand but opened a conversation with them. He has a full-time job, but every Saturday, he goes onto the streets to share the Gospel and hand out tracts. It has so encouraged me. Please pray for those tracts being spread all over the land.
